St Marys Mount

Located in the pretty market town of Ulverston the bed and breakfast is the ideal base for discovering the natural beauties of the English Lake District and the western Yorkshire Dales. The house is situated in a quiet location in a walled 3/4 acre garden with stunning views over Morecambe Bay. The house itself was built in 1845 from local granite and is furnished mainly with antiques collected over the years by the owners. Having said that the bedrooms are furnished with all of the modern conveniences that will ensure a good nights sleep with modern beds, flat screen televisions, tea making facilities and all bathrooms/shower rooms arer fitted with air baths and/or power showers. Food plays an important part in the owner's life and breakfasts include fresh fruit plates, full range of cereals, full english breakfasts, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, kippers, etc. Most of the food is prepared using food from local suppliers, jams and marmalade are made in our own kitchen and the eggs are from our own hens.
