Here at THE MEWS you will have a SUITE with your own private lounge area and double bedroom with bathroom en -suite with bath and shower. We cater for adults only. Both rooms have a FreeSat T.V and a DVD player. The sitting room has a fridge for your own use where fresh milk is provided daily. Your breakfast is served in your own sitting room at a time arranged with you. We pride ourselves on giving you a choice of locally sourced breakfast items freshly cooked from a menuand fresh fruit (which is different every day). All eggs are free range from a local farm. We love people to see this beautiful area in the way they want to and have walks car routes bus timetables and advice if needed. Although the accommodation is on the ground floor it is unfortunately not suitable for a wheel chair. Ellerbrook House is a friendly place to stay, to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery the Lake District has to offer. We welcome chidren over the age of 8 years old. We are situated close to the shops, restaurants and cafes of Windermere, yet it's only a ten minute walk to Bowness and the Lake. Whilst there are various ways of exploring the Lakes, local walks from our doorstep offer peace tranquillity and that get away' from it all feel! Please note, unfortunatly, from Easter to the end of October we require a minimum of a 2 night stay. We accept check-ins from 4pm untill 8.30pm

Above the Bay is situated overlooking Bowness Bay and Lake Windermere. All rooms are en-suite with lake views and have a private patio door entrance. The patio doors lead onto a west facing balcony with magnificent views and all rooms have sun recliners. This balcony is what we believe gives Above the Bay its own special WOW factor! Bowness village is a 3 min stroll away via a short cut down through the front garden. Full English breakfast is included and vegetarians and special diets are most welcome. Our spacious car park provides safe off road parking and most local facilities are within walking distance. Our guests also benefit from free entrance to the private Burnside Leisure Centre just 200 metres away where they can enjoy swimming sauna steam room sun beds pool table and bistro bar. WiFi connection available. Small £3 chge for all Card payments. Guests wishing to bring a pet should indicate this at the time of booking.
