Nice room relaxing surroundings in a small village about 3 miles from Exeter

Top Tip:
Good nearby pub just reopened as a community venture run by volunteers
friendly welcome although did not go in the eveing only at lunchtime

The curtains in the bedroom were torn and dirty. There were cobwebs in the wardrobe. The bathroom was being renovated and I was not offered an alternative.
When I asked where I might find some food I was given a couple of place names but no directions on how to find them.
However I was warm and comfortable but am unable to recommend this to anyone for the reasons stated.

Spent two nights there.
Had a really pleasant stay.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Plenty of parking and on a bus route to (I think) Exeter.
Really have to drive about 3 miles towards Exeter to find any restaurants. Personally I would definitely stay there again.

Top Tip:
Village pub is nice and reasonably priced.
Run as a co-operative by residents of the village who receive no wages.
