“ The staff are wonderful,so polite and helpful and nothing too much trouble....they "make" the hotel. Have to say that I was not impressed with the food...too many flavours on one plate....not,in my opinion,fine dining and expensive. The bedrooms are very clean but quite small and stuffy....also quite noisy.

“ We found all your staff to be friendly and very helpful. We stayed overnight as we were attending our friends daughters 18th birthday party. Which was at your hotel on the ground floor. The staff at the party were also very friendly and helpful. The room for a standard room was very good, clean etc.

Highly reccommended Country House Hotel set in a stunning riverside location within its own 60 acres of private grounds watch out for the geese ! Beautiful bedrooms with views across Dartmoor many with four poster beds and double spa baths. Enjoy the wonderful cuisine served in The Tors AA Red Rosette Restaurant the emphasis is on using seasonal local fresh produce. Relax in the cosy lounges infront of the blazing log fires. Enjoy being pampered at this oasis at the heart of Dartmoor just 20 minutes from Plymouth and 45 from Exeter..

“ A good value accomodation in the town centre with parking on site. The bedroom was large with a modern bathroom and tea and coffee etc. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and restaurants etc were all within walking distance.
