The Griffin - A Boutique Hotel at Guest House PricesThe Griffin is a Georgian Townhouse in the heart of Brighton. the hotel has nine rooms each with its own en suite Whirlpool bath or shower. A full breakfast is offered along with WiFi access LCD TV's with Freeview and DVD players in every room. We operate a two night minimum stay policy during the weekends and 3 nights during the bank holiday weekends.We do not accept large groups or stag and hen parties.Sorry no children under the age of 12 accommodated. Built in 1826 this beautifully regal hotel is situated overlooking Brighton Pier. Traditionally decorated and furnished throughout it offers character and style. The 186 bedrooms are all en-suite and have TV Telephone Hairdryer Trouser Press and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms command stunning sea views and a number also have spa baths. Dining is an experience in Jenny's restaurant with its succulent menu plus you can take in the views over the English Channel. Enjoy a drink in the Pavilion Bar or the Regency Lounge to relax and watch the sunset. In addition there are eight conference rooms catering for up to 150 people with first class facilities. WIFI is free to all guests and available in all public areas of the hotel.
“ If I had payed the full rate I would have demanded a refund, I reported that my room was cold and the heater was not working to the reception desk. Iwas told the heater would be replaced and the heating for the bed rooms would come on later.

“ Unfortunately our bedroom was overlooking a nightclub on the Saturday night and with no double glazing we were still awake from all the noise at 4am. The original room needed attention - wires hanging out from heated towel rail and from the ceiling light for example.

“ There was a slight mix up when I checked in, the hotel thought that breakfast wasn't included although the rate I paid included it. However, this was quickly rectified. Great location, right next to the Brighton Centre where we were seeing a show and opposite the beach.

“ This hotel has a lot of potential, but is let down by a few things - normally I love full English breakfasts, but the sausages were pretty horrible and only having hardboiled eggs as standard was not good, although you could request others.
