The Beach Hotel together with the Regency Restaurant date back to early 1828's when the restaurant was Lawson and Son jewellery shop and the hotel was St. Alban's Hotel. In 1930 Lawson and Son jewellery shop became the Regency Restaurant and the hotel was renamed The Beach Hotel. The Beach Hotel has recently been refurbished to a high standard yet still in-keeping with the Regency era.In the dining area you can enjoy a full English or a continental breakfast while enjoying the view over the Brighton promenade and the British Channel. “ helpful staff clean room, single beds were only 2ft 6in wide so not a standard size single, not good when you are 6ft tall. Our room had nice views, but 3 broken paines of glass. Room 10 on the second floor is surrounded by 3 fire doors or doors going to different areas, room 10 is the only room in this area, every time somebody went through the doors they banged shut, hence not alot of sleep. Very nice shower room

“ our room was clean and very comfortable in all i had a very good nights sleep, breakfast was good. could do with a paint but would not hesitate to book again.
“ Top Tip: we walked away from the main town in to Hove very good pubs and restaurants

“ The Beach Hotel was comfortable - the bedrooms have recently been upgraded. The reception looks a bit tired & the lift is ancient but works well! Breakfast was mainly self service with a good choice - the hot food was hot unlike so many other hotels where it is merely kept warm. The hotel was excellent value as I got a double room & breakfast single occupancy for £25! only due to the time of year (Jan).
“ Top Tip: There is also a fish restaurant attached - the Regency Restaurant good food & good value
