“ Hotel was clean but definately in need of some modernising. When we arrived mid afternoon no chef available to offer us anything to eat except tea and cake which was a bit disappointing. However nice relaxing and quiet but again shame sauna / steam room was out of order too!

We booked a family room on the internet & on arrival decided we wanted two separate rooms. The delightful receptionist was very helpfull & arranged two rooms without any fuss! The rooms were lovely & spacious with lovely open views of the countryside to the rear. The breakfast area was lovely & a good breakfast served. Attentive staff & a choice of continental or traditional cooked English (or both! We have stayed in many hotels in Eastbourne & this is GOOD!! If you like peace & quiet with good parking facilities this comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
The only complaints; the external bedroom door was wooden & needed to be a bit more secure & the bath & shower. Needed new showers & the bath needed better finish. We will stay here again as it is only a short drive to all of the delights of Eastbourne & much of East Sussex ie; Lewes, Brighton, Gatwick & Newhaven. This is a beauty!
