“ The room was very clean, beds were made everyday. Tea and coffee was replenished daily. The only drawbacks we had were the floorboards were very creaky and due to the location of the room that we were in, we had no wi-fi connection. But all in all it was enjoyable stay.

Most of the bedrooms can be accessed by lift and many have access to the balcony. The East Beach Hotel offers a relaxed and friendly style of hospitality. An ideal place for a break by the sea. Undergoing refurbishment to its former Victorian Splendour. Our spacious Sun Lounge or beautiful award-winning Patio Garden are excellent for relaxation. An Attractive late Victorian town house situated just moments from the beautiful Eastbourne seafront.With the main Shopping Centre and Train Station just 5 minutes walk away and Theatres just across the road this hotel is ideal for those planning to stay for business or pleasure. The Sherwood offers excellent service in relaxed comfortable surroundings complimented by traditional English breakfasts and good home cooked dinners (May - Sept).Close to three theatres there is no excuse not to see a performance. Take a short drive to the chalk cliffs at Beachy Head or step outside the hotel and onto the delightful Eastbourne promenade and all it has to offer.

We are only a hundred metres from the prettiest part of the seafront that has palms and pine trees leading down to the sea.
