“ This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and the staff, as last time, were really friendly and accommodating. However, we felt in some areas, it had deteriated. The building looks neglected but that doesn't bother us. We did feel everything was over-priced and we were really cold downstairs in the bar and really hot upstairs in the room. We had a superior room overlooking the sea, and so the view was spectacular. The place was not busy and yet across the road, in the Crown, it was buzzing. We ate in the restaurant, on our first night. The food bill came to £25, which isn't a lot, but it was pretty appalling quality. However, the breakfast was really good. Overall, I couldn't say it was a 'comfortable' stay, although we had a good weekend. Bus stop for Brighton is outside the hotel and so that was a big plus.
“ Top Tip: Great Indian restaurant across the road and a nice pub,The Crown, serving food.

“ We were a little apprehensive about staying in a one star hotel, however,we need not have been concerned. The hotel was clean, bath and shower great, staff very helpful and I would suggest the variety of the included breakfast better than a number of higher rated hotels in which we have stayed.
“ Top Tip: This hotel was on a main bus route so was easy to go into Brighton.

“ Lovely location, right next to the beach. Room was adequate and the breakfast was good. For what we paid, I think it was very good value. Bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes you into Brighton - very frequent service.

Excellent staff, clean and comfortable room. In need of some maintenance in places
eg badly fitted window in our room 115 let in a lot of trafffic noise. We enjoyed our stay.
“
Top Tip:
Leave your car in the Hotel car park and use the excellent local bus service.
Brighton's a pig of a place to park, they'd give you a ticket for stopping at red traffic lights if they thought they could get away with it.
