The interior design is as what you would expect from a new hotel, gleaming and shiny, with good lighting, mirrors, chrome, steel and polished wood. The impressive wide staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms from the lounge in a soft honey shade. The colour radiates from the drapes and futuristic artwork. And inside the rooms - chandilers, 'state of the art' showers and mammoth warehouse windows add that final touch of flair.

“ Great Hotel, room clean, fresh & bright. great breakfast, top notch for the money. So ladies if its shopping you want, location is great. Gentlemen if you want a party weekend, the pubs & clubs are just around the corner. Enjoy, because I did, will certainly stay there again.

Arthurs Seat is a 15 min walk away and Edinburgh International Airport a 15 min drive. Relax with friends or family and enjoy Elements Restaurant and Bar 24 hour room service indoor pool sauna steam room gym and whirlpool. Limited pay parking. Maximum two children aged under 16 sharing one room with adults are entitled to free breakfast when minimum of one adult is paying for full breakfast.Parking is limited to 15 spaces and is chargeable at £15.00 per exit please note that spaces cannot be reserved.
“ Disappointed with our stay at the Novotel Edinburgh. Totally unaware that it was the Official English Rugby Union Supporters Hotel for the weekend rugby match. This should have been advised to non English rugby supporters when booking. Also, the hotel room was perishingly cold which resulted in a very unpleasant stay.

Comfortable bed and breakfast hotel close to (15 mins walk) from Edinburgh City Centre. Great location in more residential part of town with friendly service comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Located close in the heart of Edinburgh this friendly independent two star hotel has 45 bedrooms all with small en-suite shower rooms. on the ground floor we have a breakfast room cosy lounge and modern seating area where tea and coffee can be served and where guests have access to the Internet. With just 15 minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle Princes Street Kings Theatre and only two minutes walk away from the Edinburgh International Convention Centre (EICC) and Haymarket station the Herald House offers good value and quality service. Please note that unfortunately we do not have our own car park but can direct you to one short a short walk from the hotel. Parking in Grove Street is possible but only between 6pm and 8am.
