citizen M Glasgow hotel

“ I have stayed here a few times with my parter we are a young couple in our twenties. The bed is just amazing to sleep in so comfortable and cozy. Rooms are great with the lightin in the shower being able to change to many colours made it exciting. Its near to the cinema , theartre hall, pavillion and reasturant so not a far walk wich is a gd Point. Also loved all the decor o many different things around the hotel and enjoyed looking at the quotes on the walls and shampoos lol xx would recommend it

“ My husband and i stayed at the Citizen M in Glasgow on Sunday night this was our second visit to this hotel. I bedroom is compact, very clean, comfortable and very modern, i love the fibre optic colour lighting in the shower area. There is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms and windows are NOT soundproof, we had very little sleep due to the noise level within other rooms, doors slaming,people shouting, people knocking on doors. There was also noise from the street. We were also disturbed with the housekeeper knocking on our door at 9.00am to do our room even though check out was not until 12.00. I doubt that we will stay at Citizen M again, the noise factor has really put me off, we were located on the 4th level.

“ My husband and I spent two nights in this hotel and were very impressed by the high tech factor of remote control for just about everything ( from the blinds to the mood lighting). The room was on the small side and almost a third of it was taken up by a huge ( and I mean HUGE) bed which was built in modular fashion into the window space.
The shower was fantastic and again was designed as a clear module , containing the toilet and shower - the very small sink was outwith the shower room and in the main bedroom area which was a bit awkward at times.
Our bedroom overlooked one of Glasgow's main thoroughfares and we found the noise of passing traffic quite annoying during the night.
However,this hotel ,in general, is very cool -great decor,very friendly, helpful staff and in a very central position for shops,entertainment and cafes.
We would recommend it for short stays only as there is limited space for storage.

“ Top Tip: We found a good restaurant in West Campbell Street called "The Red Onion" -good food good service.

“ good hotel for short trip for buisness trip or weekend get away .

“ Top Tip: city centre close to restaurants pubs and theatres are within walking distance from hotel.
