Basically for the cost of the room you got what you paid for. Single room has very small and narrow single bed.
Booked it as a gift as I was going to see a concert in the West End and only 5 minutes in a taxi.
“
Top Tip:
Two very good Indians across the road and Mr Singhs also a 5 minute walk. Pub wise Brass Monkey a couple minutes walk along Argyle
St and great individually styled pub and great food and drink selection.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Sandyford.Found that being located on the top floor and having no lift was a bit of a chore. The rooms were basic but beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very dated and the towels were old and tired as was the rest of the hotel. It could probably do with a bit of a make over and the main staircase would benefit from a more neutral colour on the walls---- bright yellowy/orange was a bit overpowering. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the hot food was well cooked.Staff were helpful and courteous
All in all, considering the cost I think the Sandyford did well but bit more modern decor would make it a bit more inviting. I would possibly stay again
“ Top Tip: Very handy for SECC.Lorne Hotel across the road serves good cocktails and hot chocolate
