6.2

Above Average

Maurice from Swindon

Check-in date:

Our room was just perfect, overlooking the lake very romantic.
The restaurant was a disappointment, not enough lighting and an unimaginative
menue.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful.
The bar/lounge area was not very user friendly and lap top corner full of young
thrusters was like something from an airport waiting area.
The loud use of mobile phones by the (Im important) people made it less than
the valentines romantic venue I had intended.

Top Tip: next door is the Old Boat House much nicer to eat in.
Cirencester has some good places to eat,as does Burford and The Slaughters near
Bouton on the Water.
Avoid Swindon.

Top Tip: The Eliot Arms in South Cerney is particulary worth a visit. The village is really pretty and the bar meals are good value. A lovely atmosphere in a local pub.
