La Fregate is exceptionally good with a wonderful view, very good service, maybe pricey but good value for money. The bathrooms were excellent, both double and single rooms (I headed a party of 4). Breakfasts were top quality, as was the evening meal a la carte.
Finding the place in one's own car is a challenge, and a better route-finder on their website would be helpful.
“ Top Tip: All of the town of St. Peter Port is great. The beach at Petit Bot and the cliff walks either side are a highlight.

“ The food at the hotel was superb. We only ate 1 evening meal at the hotel on our wedding anniversary because it was so expensive. However, it was definitely worth the money. The staff were lovely, very courteous and helpful. I must give special mention to Chris, on reception, who we found so helpful. The hotel had an old world charm about it. Beautiful views from our room overlooking the harbour. The room had dressing gowns, slippers, bottles of fizzy water and still water, teamaking facilities, lovely biscuits and lovely toiletries, including cotton buds and cotton wool. Little extras that help to make your stay special. If you do not have a car approaching the hotel by foot from st peters port is via a lot of steps.
