“ A very pleasent stay. Plenty of hot water although the tap on the bath was a little tempermental! Good size of romm with nice crisp, clean sheets and a good variety of food available for breakfast. Some of the decor was a little tired and in need of some tlc. Overall a great location for activities in the New Forest and we would certainly return.
“ Top Tip: Great walks all around Brokenhurst and no need to use the car for the whole weekend.

The hotel was shabby with wallpaper falling off and a rather old fashioned bathroom and decor. The dinner was appropriate for the price and the portions were good.
For a short stay this hotel is fine. It is quiet and has excellent access to the New Forest as it is surrounded by the Forest. Unfortunately the reception staff did not know anything about where to find country walks despite there being access to trails all around.

The hotel was very scruffy, the entrance dark and uninviting.
Food was very good a real highlight.
Romm ok had some problems but they were sorted out by the staff
