The 15th Century Grade II listed White Horse Inn is situated between the picturesque villages of Thruxton and East Cholderton and a half hour drive to the historic towns of Winchester and Salisbury. The White Horse was taken over in November 2006 by the Mawby family and has since gained a reputation for quality regarding food accomodation and the friendly service. Our recently refurbished extension houses 4 beautifully appointed Bed and Breakfast rooms. All have comfortable double beds en-suite shower rooms TV tea and coffee-making facilities and wireless internet access. It is the perfect home-from-home to stay when enjoying the local tourist sights particularly Stonehenge numerous country activities and walks or as part of a work visit to the area. As we are close to the A303 it is also a great place to stop off for some rest and relaxation on the long drive tofrom the West Country.A key attraction is our restaurant where you can enjoy some delicious home-cooked food either in our attractive intimate dining
