Friendly welcome - it is a pub with rooms, and all that goes with that. The room was set out well, with the usual facilities. Perhaps a bit tired in the décor - and the TV remote control was in need of a good clean!
It was a good size room with everything required and had its own charm with, for example, a four poster bed.
Breakfast was excellent - cooked to order and the promised taxi was booked for me on time.
Prefer this kind of accommodation to the places that have a 'corporate' feel - would certainly go again.
Excellent value for money.
“ Top Tip: did not stay long enough in the area but the pub itself seemed pleasant and it has an Indian restaurant attached to it.
