“ The hotel is being refurbished. The new rooms are comfortable and stylish (if not compact - that's standard rooms). Staff are superb and helpful always. Restaurant is very good. As you'd expect wine list is extensive!!

The staff on reception were helpful and pleasant. The room was warm, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We ate at the hotel both evenings, the food was good with plenty of choice.
There was a good selection of cereal and fruit for breakfast. As neither of us usually eat a cooked breakfast we opted for the 'French Toast' which was disappointingly tasteless, so we had continental breakfast the next morning.
