“ Friendly, quite and well run. Room very comfortable and clean. Parking can be a bit of a problem if hotel is busy
“ Top Tip: Park after 6 pm for free anywhere in the council car park but leave or move car before 8 am the next morning. The Old Vine near the cathedral is a good eating place.

“ I found the Winchester Hotel very comfortable and clean. Only criticism is the air conditioning/heating units in the rooms which are not easy to work. Otherwise, a very good location to Winchester which is a lovely city.
“ Top Tip: Close to Winchester town centre which had lots of shops and the main attraction being the cathedral.

“ Sat nav sent us around the one way system a couple of times . The directions should recommend that you enter Winchester via the kingsworthy road .

arriving at the winchester was great from the beginning. the receptionist explained to park round the back in the hotels carepark as the carpark out front was owned by the council and you would be charged.
the check in was early and our room was available, it was clean, lovely fittings, bedding, towels etc right down to bottled water in the fridge. the room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels, water etc what more could you want.
all staff were welcoming and eating in the restaurant was a pleasure even though a little expensive.
we used the gym and pool facilities ( even though the pool a little small) but after a busy day very relaxing, will definatley recommend family and friends to use your site as the hotel was 4star plus and through your site saved a fortune.

Good location only 10 minutes walk from the city centre.
Clean, well appointed rooms and facilities.
Leisure facilities very good, although leisure reception unattended on the Sunday morning whch was not very helpful as we kept having to ring main reception for towels, access to pool etc.
I would stay here again and recommend to others.
