St Mary's is just 2.5 miles long by 1.75 miles wide its capital being Hugh Town a small village with a population of 1600. Sunnyside Flats are in the centre of St. Mary's one mile from Hugh Town with pleasant walks in all directions to beaches coastal footpaths nature trails and beautiful moorland. The Isles of Scilly are the perfect place for a quiet and safe holiday. Directions:
If you arrive on the ferry "Scillonian" a 40 mile trip from Penzance your luggage will automatically be delivered to Sunnyside flats so just make sure that you have labeled it to go to Sunnyside Flats St Mary’s. You might then wish to walk up to the flats stopping of for some lunch in Hugh Town on the way. To walk to Sunnyside just follow the road through Hugh Town keep to the left at the park walk up past the harbour (on the left) exit the town and follow Telegraph Road to Sunnyside;
