Very difficult to find by car if you don't know Ashford. A street map of Ashford showing the one way system would be very useful. Breakfast must be taken at a local cafe and the menu is restricted (no cereals).
The manager was very pleasant and obliging.
“ Top Tip: Brilliant Weatherspoons restaurant / bar opposite with excellent, good value food.

Not easy to find in a car but the room was very well appointed - except that there was no comfortable chair, only a stool at the television table.
Because of its central position it was very noisy, well into the small hours. The close proximity of the restaurants was double-edged; they were convenient but there was always a smell of cooking in the air. It was though well placed for customers who needed to be in the town centre. And breakfast at The Gorge was good value.
Although there is a pay-and-display car park very close, the hotel parking was limited and difficult to access, a bit like climbing the north face of the Eiger.
