This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, due to the fact that they accept dogs. Unfortunately, it does not have air conditioning, therefore, we were obliged to have the window open due to the hot weather and the road noise from the M20 was very loud during the night.
We were unable to adjust the heat control on the shower in room 312, making the water quite hot and potentially quite dangerous.
Also could you please ask them to take off those awful garlic dough balls off the menu I've had them twice now and they really are hard and unedible!

The room was clean and functional, the bed however was far to soft, with no support at all. My husband and I were rolling into each almost immediately we got into it. I have just recently recovered from a back injury, having spent hundreds of pounds on Osteopath bills over the last few months I was so frightened that sleeping on such a soft matress would cause my back damange I slept on the sofa with my coat on. I can honestly say it was the worst nights sleep I have had in many months.
The visit was only a one night stay, I did mention to the receptionist about the bed but she laughed and seemed to think this was not an important issue to raise - lets hope she never has to experience the pain or expense of a bad back!
“ Top Tip: I did not realise there were swans in a pond next door to the Travel Lodge, it was a lovely sight in the morning, the nicest thing about the whole stay in fact.
