What a lovely hotel.
Lovely clean room, crisp white sheets, beautifully clean bathroom, lovely white fluffy towels, plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Had dinner in the pub bar on Saturday night excellent food and really good value.
Breakfast freshly cooked, plently of it.
We were made to feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble and the fact that they accept pets will encourage us to book again.
Would recommend The Evenhill

“ Excellently appointed room in a made-to-measure barn set behind a delightful pub. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, the food was excellent and the value outstanding. The only one niggle was the television channel changers - a tad eccentric. Apart from that, highly recommended.
“ Top Tip: If you haven't been to this part of Kent before, get out and about, it's beautiful with some of the prettiest villages and most welcoming pubs you'll find anywhere.

“ We stayed at the Evenhill 19th and 20th May 2011 and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff in the reception area and in the restaurant. Our room was on the plus side for an Inn and was clean and comfortable. We had to move from our allocated room, as there was an intermittment buzz coming from near the air con unit, and we were immediatley upgraded to a larger family room without any fuss by the helpfull staff. Only criticisms were the TV's in the rooms need upgrading and, although the food was good in the restaurant, the starters seemed overpriced. There is a bar meal menu. Its very well located for Canterbury, only a couple of miles away, and the Golf Course is closer. Yes, we would stay at the Evenhill again.
“ Top Tip: There are bus stops on both sides of the road near the Evenhill to Canterbury and its an excellant Bus service for all the surrounding areas. For great sea food, The Crab and Winkle Restaurant in Whitstable Harbour is a must as beneath is the Whitstable Fish Market and Wee Willy Winkles Kitchen.

“ The staff at the Evenhill are very friendly. The rooms are clean and up to date. The only fault I have is the bed was very hard so sleeping was difficult for me. The pub sells good real ale and good food. The locals were very friendly and warm towards us.
“ Top Tip: Howletts zoo is just down the road. Dover castle is not too far away.

“ I was an excellent place given the price for the two days. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bath is amazing and enjoying taking a bath in it. I also had dinner and breakfast, and found it well prepared and delicious. The only complaint I have is that the hotel (like all hotels in the UK) does not cater for people like me, who for religious reasons don't eat pork or its supplements. I would recommend that the hotel become flexible and provide beef sausages or other types instead only pork.
