Ideally situated on the West Promenade with a fine panoramic view of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Hills and some of the best sunsets in the UK the Berkeley Guest House makes a superb base for exploring the Lake District as well as the city of Lancaster and Morecambe itself. Historic Lancaster is a short 10 minute drive away or quicker by train. Personal care and consideration is given to ensure the highest standard of hospitality and accommodation. Excellent home-cooking from local produce is the basis to the preparation of all meals and the proprietors pride themselves on making your stay in Morecambe a memorable one. All twelve bedrooms are tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities colour television and complimentary tea and coffee. Many of the rooms have splendid views overlooking beautiful Morecambe Bay. The Sunset suite boasts a 4 poster bed and large bay window overlooking the Lakeland hills.For your personal comfort at all times the rooms are individually centrally heated. There is a licensed bar where you can enjoy a good selection of beers wines and spirits at very competetive prices.
All twelve rooms at the Berkeley are en-suite with electric showers and the rooms are all centrally heated for your personal comfort. There are also colour tvs and coffee making facilities in each room. Family rooms are equipped with tv/dvd combis. The Sunset Suite boasts a four poster bed and large bay window overlooking the sea.
After breakfast the room transforms into the bar which serves a good selection of beers wines spirits and soft drinks and nibbles throughout the day and evening at very competitive prices. Bar games of all description are available for your use from an original shove halfpenny board to the more modern wii console.On the ground floor you will find the residents lounge where you can get away from the hustle and bustle. You can watch tv or a dvd select a book to read.
