The Crown
Uppingham
The Crown Inn dates back to 1739 when two separate dwellings were altered to make the one building as you see today. Back in December 2006 we had a chimney survey done here and found out that the design of the once communal chimney dates the original dwellings back to pre 1530.
“ Good value for money, comfortable very clean room, staff very friendly, good meals, excellent breakfast, right in middle of town so can walk to everything. Parking available. Excellent real ale downstairs in the pub, good atmosphere, don't hear much from the pub, though can hear other guests if they are a bit loud coming up to the room, but nothing that affected us.
