“ When we arrived the hotel was completely surrounded by scaffolding. Nothing was mentioned about a refurbishment being done when i booked this hotel. The lift was out of use. The breakfast room had low lighting, almost migraine inducing! To get any breakfast (toast and cereal) you had to fight to use a toaster. Our room consisted of a bunk bed and a double bed, which was pretty much a camp bed! Our room view from the window was a tiny concrete area, full of rubbish and rubble and surrounded by scaffolding! All corridors were filthy with concrete floors. The car park was full of builders vans making it impossible to move with a car safely!

“ Very nice room, newly refurbished which was good. Shower was clean and nice and very glad to have a hairdryer. Curtains were different lengths though which was odd and we only had one pillow each which was a shame. Overall though, very happy. Receptionist was extremely polite and helpful and breakfast was great.
