“ La Suite seems to be set up mainly for executive / business - type clients. It's OK, and the desk staff are helpful, but the whole place feels quite cramped (built into a single townhouse) and we experienced a number of irritations with the housekeeping service - e.g. the sheet on the foldaway sofabed had clearly not been replaced since the last user, and since we needed to use it (for our 6 year old daughter) we had to ask for a clean sheet... Since the housekeeping staff had gone off duty by the time we found the dirty sheet (unfolding the sofa...), the best the desk staff could offer was a duvet cover which we had to wrangle over the mattress... This was symptomatic of a number of minor problems we had with the room and service. So although the stay wasn't unpleasant, we wouldn't choose to go back there.
“ Top Tip: Daunt Books is a great independent bookstore just down Marylebone High Street. A number of good restaurants there too.
