Great location for East London. The hotel though is a bit tired and needs updating.
I had several issues which were dealt with on departure.
Water pressure low - avoid 3rd floor up>/ poor tv signal- they say that they are switching tv's to digital( why not when the switch over happened?)/ wardrobe insufficient height for dress or jacket.
I will stay there again but not before I have checked out the room first on check in.

Restaurants are plenty a beautiful local town with lots of shops and restaurants.
Overlooks Black Heath :-)
Greenwich park - short walk too:-)

“ Very comfortable hotel with view over Blackheath Common and just a walk away from Greenwich Park. Nice shops, restaurants and train station just 5 minutes away in Blackheath. Good size twin room, clean and comfortable. Good breakfasts.

“ Top Tip: Hotel is walking distance from Blackheath Village with a nice range of restaurants,cafe's and shops, train connection which takes you to the heart of the city and buses for i.e, O2, the heath invites to a nice walk
