Old Etonian Hotel

“ I would rank this hotel as a grea find and a little gem in a quiet and pleasant part of Greater London. The room, whilst on the small side was very comfortable and well equipped with TV, coffee and tea making facilities. The owner and his staff were extremely helpful and the food in the restaurant, which appears to be very popular with the local public, was very good and very good value on the multi-choice daily menu.

Slightly on the downside, the restaurant is not open on Sunday evenings and the adjoing pizza-pasta place, also owned by the hotel closed around nine. The continental breakfast was fine but rather limited. There is no car parking but there appeared to be adquate off -street parking.

None of this should put peole off. oing to the Old Etonian - situated in the heart of Harrow School. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommenditng this hotel to others and we plan to return there the next tme we go to Wembley - just three stops away on the Metropolitan lne.

“ Top Tip: There is a very good pub, The Castle, a couple of minutes from the Hotel, down Short Hill - short but quite steep! The Castle, clearly very popular with locals, was a life-saver on Sunday as it serves good quality pub food until 9.30pm every night.
