“ Hotel staff very friendly...was a basic budget place to stay and perfect for exploring London. Breakfast I was told was continental and was about £4 a person and had cereals, fruit juice, tea/coffee, toast, beans and eggs which I didnt have but thought it was great value.

Walls a little thin and could hear noisy people in next room, would be good to have a phone in room even just to be able to call reception as didnt want to go downstairs and complain at like 3am.

No lift so not good if you cant manage stairs but you could always request a ground floor room.

Tea coffee facilities was a nice touch in room and we asked for more teabags and staff were delighted to oblige.

Shower door didnt shut properly so water leaked out on bathroom floor but we were only there one night.

Clean comfortable room and was lovely to have 2 pillows each as so many budget places give you one pillow only.

Would stay again and think would try the breakfast.

“ The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. They charged an extra £5 to pay by credit card even although my confirmation booking did not state anything. I had to ask for a bar of soap to wash as there was nothing in the bathroom, which was so small you almost could not get into it. Dirty used satches of shampoo were lying about. Had to request a remote control to work the television as there wasn't one in the room and there was no other way of switching it on. The staff could not even direct me to an address only 500 metres away as their english was very poor.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
