Although our stay was very pleasant, The reception staff on arrival, one girl in particular was un proffessional and very uninformative. The hotel does have a fantastic location on the banks of the river Thames next to the London Eye which are great plusses, however the decor of the room was dated, the fittings in the bathroom were falling off the walls, and the pool, sauna, jaccuzzi were all seperate so you had the corridor to walk down soaking wet if you wanted a sauna after your swim!
I think the hotel in general was probably overated, and think there are better value for money hotels with more attentive staff, with warmer welcomes than the Marriott County Hall. Incidentally, it was our anniversary and my birthday during our stay, which was indicated on the booking forms etc, and not as much as a 'Congratulations', 'Happy Birthday', bowl of fruit or bottle of wine nor an 'Enjoy your stay' on checking in?

Top Tip:
The ZEN Chinese restaurant 1st floor of the hotel (just outside) was quite unique with fantastic views by the window over looking the river and Big Ben etc, the food was fantastic but a little pricey!
The Slug & Lettuce round the corner has a fantastic comedy night every Friday and is well worth the £12.00 ticket for three or four top rated comedians!
