“ Our stay at the Malmaison in Londain was great. We arrived in London earlier than the check in time and called ahead to ask if we could check in early. They arranged for houskeeping to turn our room around and when we arrived it was ready for us to check in, great service. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options. The bar was also very good with a wide range of cocktails. The bar staff and restaurant staff were very helpful.
“ Top Tip: The Barbican Tube station is very close to the hotel. come out of the station turn right and right again and the hotel is in the top right corner of the square.

“ Malmaison's slogan is dare to be different, with some great little touches I feel they achieve this very well. I cant stand the normal hotel buffet style breakfast with very manky looking bacon and eggs. The mal cook your breakfast for you how you like it on request which was a very pleasent surprise. Checkout was at midday which is also a pleasent surprise, bucking the current trend where hotels are making it earlier and earlier. We also checked in at 11 in the morning which was great. Fantastic room - all the Sky Sports channels, over the moon with our stay. Very helpful and friendly staff who helped us to organise our friends in the bar ready for the surprise when my girlfriend and I arrived.
“ Top Tip: Great area, very close to the mixer but without the hustle and bustle. Great mix of traditional pubs, trendy bars and restaurants.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, this is the quietest room I have ever had. There was so little noise we missed breakfast the first morning. No toilets flushing, movement in the halls, earlier morning showers to be heard at all.
locationwas superb for theatre land.
the bar was very comfortable and the whole experience was very relaxing.
The only down side was the works to the local tube station and I hate it when a waitress starts to clear the table when someone is still eating.
“ Top Tip: Great walks, do not go by tube, five minutes from St Paul's where you can have a wonderful meal in the restaurant below. then on to the Globe theatre which is straight over the pedestian bridge across the Thames.
