“ all in all it was a very good hotel.It was well situated very close to the underground and all other transport.The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the bar which was open late was surprisingly reasonable.

“ We have stayed here before and would definately recommend this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is well presented but quite expensive, bar meals are better value for money. We could not fault the excellent breakfasts. We paid £30 a night extra for an upgraded roof terrace room which was well worth it.

196 Bishopsgate is located in London's financial district which is a short hop on the tube from the thriving West End a mere walk to the River Thames and a stone's throw from the numerous bars and restaurants of London's fashionable Hoxton and Shoreditch districts. We offer a range of fully serviced apartments from Studios up to Penthouse Suites all with no minimum stay. At 196 Bishopsgate you benefit from the flexibility of a hotel while at the same time are able to enjoy the space and freedom of apartment living! Each of our 48 serviced residences are decorated to the same high standard and have been furnished with a contemporary flare. All offer fully equipped kitchens air-conditioning marble clad en-suites and dining areas. All rooms are cleaned Monday to Saturday (no service on a Sunday or Bank Holiday's).
“ Well located and priced with room to spread out. Staff very helpful. Drawbacks - one flat facing into the inner courtyard had very low unprotected windows that would be a serious danger with young children - no non-smoking rooms so you often get rooms smelling of stale cigarette smoke heavily sprayed with deodorant.

“ The room was bigger than any other room I had in London so far and was clean and suited my requirements. The hotel is near the underground (only 3 min walking to Bank station) and near 2 rail stations (Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street).
