Very Good

Check-in date:

its a lovely hotel, good location 5 minutes from tower hill tube station and just across the road from tower of London. the staff are very helpful, the rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and a decent shower. my only negative is the breakfast arrangement, its a bit of a scramble, searching for clean bowls and plates to use. if you get there at the wrong time youll be in a bit of a queue also. its not for lack of effort on there part, they just seem overwhelmed by the numbers. we're staying again next month,so it hasn't put us off!

Great

Check-in date:

This hotel is in such a good location it is literally 2 mins from the tube and 5 mins from the DLR railway, great if you are visiting the excel centre. Check in was so speedy and the staff were very helpful, the warm cookies were an added bonus, we only ate one and had the other cold the day after and it was still nice. The only negative comments are having to wait for glasses and bowls in the dining room at breakfast time (but worth the wait as the food was very good and plenty of choice) and having to pay £4.95 for a bottle of Peroni in the bar - it was only £3.95 at the Novotel across the road. We had a lovely weekend and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you to all the staff.

Top Tip: My husband is into real ales which we found at the Minories pub at the side of the entrance to the DLR had a decent choice.
