The newly refurbished Best Western London Highbury is a well established friendly hotel offering excellent accommodation for the tourist and business traveller. on arrival the receptionist had very little english the gave us a room which he walked us to on entering the room i noticed it was not our room as there was bags in it so i went back down to explain the moved us to the right room this time only thing is they did not say sorry or anything for the mix up. The room itself was very clean and newly referbished only think i will say is the walls are so thin and the rooms so hot we stayed 3 nights and found it impossible to sleep with the heat and the noise coming from the rooms to the left and right all night location was good and its across from the park and walking distence to markets on holloway etc
the breakfast was rubbish to be truthfull and when checking out no one asked how our stay was etc we had to ring down 2 times for toilet roll as they never replaced also alarm call we never got from reception also tv alarm did not go off staff wise i worked and am a manager in a hotel i would recommend they teach them english and manners
i would come back again if the staff spoke more english and asked about my stay and also if the rooms were quiter and less hot and less expensive
