“ We stayed for one night for a theatre visit to Manchester for my husband's birthday. On booking I requested a nice room as it was a special occasion. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade and a bottle of wine and card for my husband. Without exception staff were friendly, the room was terrific and we enjoyed drinks in the lovely cocktail bar. Breakfast was very good. Overall good value for money and will definately return next time we come to Manchester.
“ Top Tip: Take time to have a drink in the bar and watch the world go by. Try Chicceti by Kendalls for Italian style tapas. Nice bars by the Northern Quarter just behind the hotel.

“ Loved this hotel, booked with Travel Republic got much better room than friends who had booked direct with hotel also paid a couple of pounds less. My only issue was drinks in the hotel bar were a fortune.
