Recently acquired by The Lansdowne Hotel (in January 2011) The Lansdowne 2 is a great budget hotel located along the busiest bus route in Europe making it perfect for getting into the city centre and beyond. We're ideally located for going on a night out seeing a gig watching a match or visiting the University or Hospitals and we're connected to the rest of Manchester by good public transport running at all hours of the day. Each of our rooms is spacious clean and includes a full size bath to relax in. We're currently upgrading our rooms so look out for photos to be added soon! Our rooms are located behind the Ram and Shackle one of the best student bars in Manchester. It features live bands DJ's quizzes and entertainment seven nights a week. Feel free to make use of the bar during opening hours or stop by The Lansdowne Hotel bar which is open all day for guests. “ Bedroom was colder than outside. The bathroom was disgusting, it had Brown mildew stains down the bath and a crack through it, the ceiling in the bathroom was all mouldy and the beds were so noisy that every time you moved it woke you up.
