Llwyn Onn Guest House is in an idyllic setting overlooking the Llwyn Onn Reservoir in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It has been converted to a high 4 star hotel standard accommodation with 11 en suite bedrooms. The front bedrooms overlook the gardens and the lake whilst the back and ground floor bedrooms have woodland views. There is also private off road parking for our guests. The Llwyn Onn area is ideal for walking and cycling around the reservoir to the nearby Garwnant Forest Centre and the Taff Trail We are close to Pen y Fan with panoramic views of the countryside in the National Park. Llwyn Onn is situated on the outskirts of Merthyr with access to major towns with Cardiff to the South Swansea to the West and Brecon to the North. It appeals to both business and leisure. “ My partner and I agree that the B&B was very clean, had outstanding views. the breakfast was superb and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Also, the double room we had en-suite was extremely clean and comfortable with a separate toilet that was also exremely clean with adequate fan, however the one thing that let it down was simply the shower which stood in the corner of the room and was completely transparent. If it had been walled off, or at least the glass was opaque it would not have been so bad. No matter how long partners have been together, my guess is most people feel toilets and showers are personal space, and for this reason we cannot understand how it was described as an "Executive" Double, or how it has an 4* AA rating.
