A comfortable hotel with good food in the Bistro and the lounge bar. The room we had was reasonable - but noisy due to a folk evening in the bar below. The room was very bright at night due to floodlights immediately outside the window - heavier blinds as well as curtains would have helped this. Ask for a room away from the front.
We were surprised to find that TravelRepublic were acting as agents for Late Rooms -and took their fee on top of the arrangement that Late Rooms had with the hotel. The hotel charged our credit card 30GBP immediately the booking was made - something that they say is their normal arrangement with Late Rooms - this was not made clear on the Travel Republic booking - but wasn't really a problem - it is just should that we should have been made aware of it.
