“ The setting is fantastic - our room had a view straight on to the Abbey - but the room was slightly shabby and we couldn't get the television to work. This was a minor irritation, though, because we were only there for one night and we were out most of the time. The radiator had obviously leaked at some time and the carpet was stained around it. The beds were big for twin beds and comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. I have said above that the hotel is suitable for families but care would need to be taken with small children as when you leave the hotel drive you are straight on to the road - there isn't even a pavement. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.
“ Top Tip: Tintern Abbey is straight over the road and there are good pubs and restaurants a 5 minute walk away.

“ We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel ,the staff were most friendly made us all very welcome .Enjoyed a lovely meal ,nine of us all had different things but was not too much trouble .We would definately stay at this hotel again ,the atmosphere made the beautiful country hotel well done .
“ Top Tip: Well as we had been busy painting our sisters flat ,did not have the time ,but enjoyed seeing the Abbey ,which was all lit up at night .
