Top Tip:
Cardiff - 20 minutes drive is fabulous for shopping & eating.
The Brecon Mountain Railway - 30 minutes drive, wonderful steam locomotive

A stunning hotel, with 5 restaurants to choose from. Great service and food.
Beautiful surroundings, a a fantastic golf course.
Recommend the traditional afternoon tea, but you must book beforehand as they do get very busy.
Good woodland walks to take the kids around to wear them out, whilst Dad is playing golf.
Lovely leisure facilities but can get a little noisy in the pool during school holidays, good to use first thing in the morning before the kids get up.
The service in the restaurant was fantastic but bar service can be a little slow.
