We had room 203, Double but room too small, 30cms to get round bottom of bed.
Very hot room without room heating on. Boilers below, noisy exhausts outside the window which looked out on a brick wall 3 feet away. Room backs onto a noisy staircase. Bath room ok, good breakfast, ok for a bed for the night at best. Not too accessible for people having trouble up/down stairs so if you have a problem, ask for the ground floor. Nice staff. Close to York City Centre.

“ there was an issue regards cleaning - room had not been adequately cleaned - hotel staff however noted fact and inspected room - then made thorough clean of it immediately. Was quiet. Was overall value for money. Is about 15 minutes walk into towm centre.

“ Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist, who booked us in. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Room was very clean. Hotel is about ten mins from the city centre. Would recommend the Hotel for short stays in York.
“ Top Tip: The Pub next door is a place to visit the staff was friendly and very welcoming. It has an Indian restaurant, within the premises, which was recommended to us, but we didn't have time to go.

“ The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. I would recommend the breakfast as it was really good value for money. The room was really nice and spacious, although the coffee machine was tempramental at times but we got it working in the end!

“ close to city centre and minster. Rooms very clean and modern including bathroom. car park rather small and tight. good price but although included in the price you pay is freeview tv & free wi fi internet in all rooms but neither worked, when we informed the girl on reception she was arragont and just fobbed us off by telling us the ariel must be facing the wrong way for the tv and when we asked for the password for the wi fi she said it causes to many problems and that you only need to click i icon which we did but it also didnt work. The owners are trying hard but are being let down by the lazy arragont unhelpful girl at reception.
