Legacy Hollin Hall Country House Hotel

“ Booking this Hotel with TravelRepublic was a real bargain - we only paid £40.00 for a twin bedded room + full english breakfast!!!!
I had read a couple of dodgy reports about Hollin Hall Hotel and was a little concerned about what we were going to get, but we were pleasantly surprised.
As soon as we drove up to the Hotel the porter was there instantly to welcome us and help with our luggage, the receptionist was lovely - very pleasant and helpful.
The breakfast was great, the usual full hot buffet + cereals, yogurt, muffins, juice, toast, grapefruit - all you could eat, plus tea and coffee.
The main building is a beautiful old house but is due a refurb and the extension where most of the bedrooms are needs upgrading, looking at the fixtures and fittings it was probably built in the 1970's but having said that our room was clean and comfortable with a huge flat screen TV, bath with shower over (lots of hot water), nice clean fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and brewing facilities.
For £40.00 per night for two people you can't complain!!!!
