“ We enjoyed our stay at East Ayton Lodge. The manager and staff were pleasant and very helpful and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was excellent. The only drawback was the decor. Carpets, particularly the dining room, were dirty and needed replacing and the rooms needed renovating. Having said that, we spoke to the manager about our stiff taps and they were fixed the same day. This hotel could be really excellent if renovation is carried out (I understand the dining room carpet has already been ordered).
