The Hotel is ideally situated, being only a short 10 minute drive from the coastal towns of Whitby and the old market town of Pickering. The city of York, with all its history is a 45 minute drive. The North Yorkshire Moors steam railway also stops in the village. The Mallyan Spout is a 19th-century country house hotel set within picturesque gardens with views across the Esk valley. Visit the 70 foot high Mallyan Spout waterfall, which flows into a wooded valley a short walk from the hotel. T.V with sky freeview channels videoD.V.D with lots of scary movies for your enjoyment!Tea and coffee making facilities each room has its own separate private bathroom with bath.Full meaty or vegetarian breakfast yogurts fruit and cereals served in candlelit breakfast room to Gothic tunes!Situated a five minute walk from Whitby town centre. Car parking and secure motorbike parking available.Well behaved pets welcome upon request.
