Fenham Farm Bed and Breakfast
Fenham Farmhouse, Beal, Berwick-Upon-Tweed, TD15 2PL TD15 2PL
Fenham, Northumberland, United Kingdom
4 Star Bed and Breakfast
Fenham Farm is located on the coast overlooking Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For the birdwatcher and lover of nature this area provides a unique opportunity to see and get close to some of the countrys rarest animals. In the autumn months the sand flats that are exposed at low tide become a huge feeding ground for geese and waders from around the world. Converting the smiddy cow byre and cartshed at Fenham has created 5 spacious en-suite rooms that are independent of the farmhouse and have individual front doors so your space is your own. You will enjoy modern comfort all round and will be kept warm and cosy by underfloor heating even on the chilliest of days. All the units are decorated to an extremely high standard and boast feather down duvets and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. Breakfasts are cooked to order using local products wherever possible and fresh eggs from our own hens and are served in the dining room which is part of the farmhouse. Packed lunches can also be provided but must be pre-ordered. Evening meals are available at many local public houses and restaurants. We can provide a lift service for cyclists and walkers to the nearest ones. Northumberland is a land of contrasts from the sandy beaches and rugged cliffs of the coast to the high wilderness of the Cheviot Hills it is truly a region with something for everyone. For a more cosmopolitan day out with more shops galleries and culture take a trip to either Edinburgh or the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne all around an hour away.

Walk to Holy Island via St Cuthberts Way, check tide times for crossing the causeway and don't forget your binoculars
Birds and seals in abundance
Look out for upturned boats converted to sheds in the harbour area; and the shellfish man in the car park for a delicious crab sandwich
