“ The location of the hotel was very convenient, but more Hotel signs in the vicinity would help to make finding it easier and less confusing as the Hotel is positioned near a commercial area. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The Crown and Thistle lies at the centre of the market town of Abingdon. It is a traditional 17th century coaching inn surrounding a cobbled courtyard. The hotel is a listed building with recently refurbished bedrooms bar and restaurant.There are 19 en suite bedrooms giving a mix of single double and twin bedded rooms as well as two four poster bedrooms. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities satellite TV and direct dial telephones.

We are easy to find on Ock Street close to Abingdon's picturesque market square and the Thames Path and a mile from the A34 with easy access to Oxford and Didcot. The Cross Keys aims to be a welcoming friendly place to spend time and meet friends be they old or new.
“ People were friendly.Rooms were for contractors.Toilet did not flush,i told the manager what was wrong,he tried to get a plumber,but,no luck stuck with it all weekend.Beds and towels were clean

The Kingfisher Barn is a cottage style bed and breakfast our rooms are in a beautiful courtyard setting we offer complimentary wi-fi and tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms have a fridge and microwave and all have en suite bathrooms. All our bed and breakfast rooms can go as doubles.The Kingfisher Barn is in a quiet and peaceful countryside setting however we are only 10 minutes walk from town centre of Abingdon and 15 minutes drive from the A34 which is connected to the M40 London and the M40 north bound.We also have an indoor swimming pool which is complimentary for the early birds swimmer.We look forward to welcoming you at The Kingfisher Barn.
