excellent hotel staff really helpfull
very near to City Centre ( 15 min flat walk or 5 min on bus )but set in beautiful grounds so you think you are in the countryside.
Plenty of parking.
we had a basic room which was smallish but comfortable and enough for our needs as we were only staying 1 night.
Breakfast excellent and good to see they still use china teapots.
“ Top Tip: you will catch local buses just outside the hotel grounds so dont be put off when told there is walk to town.

Pros: Picturesque grounds, fairly friendly staff, short bus ride into Oxford city centre or you can even walk it, comfy beds & pillows, standard size room, a powerful shower and Express check-out was great!
Cons: Slow check-in, poor drainage in bath this time and we were next to a corridor door so could hear people passing late at night and early the next morning...even though we wear ear plugs.
Overall though I would certainly recommend this hotel as I have stayed here atleast four times and received good service.
