“ The hotel is an old coaching Inn, nicely modernised and spilling over 2 adjoining buildings. It was clean and welcoming with very friendly staff. Room not very large, but quiet. restaurant only average, but bar very pleasant.
“ Top Tip: We loved this village - a real find, so near the main routes yet so quiet. The drive to the Oxford Park & Ride is easy and there are plenty of places of interest around. We went to Blenheim and, on the way home, Basildon Park - both to be recommended. The village itself offers plenty of interest between the old buildings, Abbey and lovely walks beside the Rivers Thames and Thame which meet at this point. 3 restaurants within a few yards.

We only stayed a night but it was really pleasant. The hotel is really cute and the staff very friendly. We had dinner in their lovely dining room and food was quite ok too. Breakfast was amazing!Lots of choice and suitable to all tastes.
I recommend this place to people that are visiting Oxford and don't want to stay in the city and that would rather spend some quality hours/days in the beautiful English countryside.
