“ The proprietors for very helpful and welcoming. One of your earlier reviews said the same but remarked it was rather cool but we found just right.
“ Top Tip: We had a top rate dinner at the Eyston Arms some five minutes walk away in East Hendred. Not cheap but good.

The Hotel is very good and the people were really very nice and ready to help making your stay more confortable. For instance, I had a very bad first night because of a broken mattress and I complained (just notified) about it the next morning. Result; they changed the old mattress the same day and I could have a much better night sleep for the rest of my stay.
The only negative point or, if you allow me something that they can still easily improve, is the temperature in the breakfast room. It is very cold the morning because the heating system seemed to not be working. Indeed, the heating elements were at the maximum but they were just lukewarm.
In summary, I would say that this is an excellent choice and we highly recommend Greensands B&B. For sure if we have to visit again the area Greensands B&B will be our top choice.

Top Tip:
The Packhorse Inn pub, located at Milton Hill OX13 6AG, on the A4130 is less than 2 miles away (5 min by car) from the Greensands and it is certainly a very good choice.
Staying 6 nights in the area we went 4 times there. This tells more than words!!
